Bintang utama The World of the Married – Kim Hee-ae – dinobat sebagai Pelakon Wanita Terbaik dalam Baeksang Arts Awards edisi ke-56.
Kim Hee-ae memainkan peranan sebagai Jin Sun-woo di dalam drama tersebut.
Kim Hee-ae menewaskan 4 calon lain yang power power semuanya iaitu Gong Hyo-jon (When The Camellia Bloom), IU (Hotel De Luna), Song Ye-jin (Crash Landing On You) dan Him Hye-soo (Hyena).
Sementara itu Kang Ha Neul memenangi Anugerah Pelakon Lelaki Terbaik menerusi “When The Camellia Blooms”.
Bagi pelakon pembantu wanita terbaik pula milik Kim Sae Byuk menerusi “House of Hummingbird”.
Dan Lee Kwang Soo membawa pulang Anugerah Pelakon Pembantu Lelaki Terbaik dari lakonannya dalam “Inseparable Brothers”.
“Stove League” diiktiraf sebagai Drama Terbaik, manakala Parasite memenangi Anugerah Filem Tebaik.
Baeksang Arts Award ini dianggap “Oscars Korea,” dan ianya berlasngsung di Korea International Exhibition Center pada June 5.
